Vision Board: Review, First Impressions, Two Things Learned

Hello My Beautiful Loves!

Last week I filmed another video post on my YouTube channel, to follow My Vision Board blog post.

Doing research on why some work and some don’t, I created this board with the intention of doing it with how I think it works.

As of today its been about two and half weeks since I created it and its been very helpful for me. Sitting here and writing about it only brings back tear-jerking moments of what it is that I truly want in life.

I want to share with you a personal experience that I had just recently, and what this board has done to help.

Why I think it works

Picture to remind me of self-compassion and my journey of self-love.

It Reminds You of Who You Are

One of things I’ll share from the video is that, when created correctly. The vision board reminds you of your authenticity. Who You Are and who your soul really is.

This past weekend, I did something out of alignment with my vision board and I definitely feel like a failure (It had to do with my relationships section). But at the same time, having this visual, served as a compass pointing me back to my true north.

It gives me a cue of ok, if I am presented with this mishap again, I will know better. Which is basically what I did, I gave myself rules for the next time. And though right now, I feel in the failure mode, seeing pictures of myself gets me teary-eyed because it reminds me that its OK. That I’m not perfect and to not expect myself to be.

When I posted pictures of myself, I surrounded it around the above picture, which was that reminder that I Am Enough.

A good Vision Board connects you with the present moment, as well as connects you to the vision of your future. Creating this board is something that I am grateful for.

It’s placed near my bed-side and I am constantly looking it.

Check it Out!

So I just wanted to share that with you folks. Of course I learned another lesson, which is on the video. But I wanted to share a little bit of the power I realized because of it.

I’d love to hear any experiences you’ve had in the comments below!

Till then my beauties!
Gabriella
